## What SplitEasy Does
SplitEasy solves the problem of splitting expenses during international group trips. Unlike Splitwise or other expense splitting apps, SplitEasy uses the actual exchange rate from the date each expense occurred — not today's rate. This means if you paid €240 for dinner on March 14th, it converts at the EUR/USD rate from March 14th, keeping totals accurate even weeks after the trip.

Each expense tracks exactly which group members participated. If only 3 of 5 people shared a taxi, only those 3 are charged. The settlement engine then analyzes every expense, transfer, and pre-trip debt to generate the minimum number of payments needed to make everyone square.
